Vacuum Furnace Maintenance

1. Check whether high-purity nitrogen is sufficient, whether cooling water is smooth and whether compressed air pressure meets the standard before working every day.

2.When the interior of the equipment is dirty or not clean, wipe it clean and dry with a silk cloth wet with alcohol or gasoline.

3. The electric connectors of the electrical control system should be kept clean and tightened, and each fastened electric connector should be checked before opening the furnace.

4.Clean and clean the external surface of the equipment by wiping it frequently.

5.Mechanical drive parts shall be refueled or changed regularly according to general equipment lubrication requirements.

6. After work, the furnace body must be kept under 0.01 Pa vacuum.

The following items are completed by a shift leader or operator to assist the maintenance worker:

1. Maintenance should be done without power supply. When servicing under live conditions, the absolute safety of operators, maintenance personnel and equipment must be ensured.

2. When disassembling and assembling parts of vacuum system, hydraulic system and refilling system of furnace body, wash them with gasoline or alcohol, and then coat them with vacuum grease after drying.

3. The insulation resistance of furnace should be checked frequently. When the insulation resistance of water-cooled electrode and furnace shell is less than 1000 ohm, the electrothermal elements, the resistance of electrode and heat insulation layer should be carefully checked to eliminate the faults in time.

4. The finished parts such as vacuum pump, valve, measuring instrument, thermal instrument and electrical component are repaired and maintained according to the technical instructions of the manufacturer.
