Vacuum furnace is a vacuum system (carefully assembled by vacuum pump, vacuum measuring device, vacuum valve, etc.) which is used to discharge some substances in the furnace cavity so that the pressure in the furnace cavity is less than a standard atmospheric pressure and the space in the furnace cavity realizes the vacuum state. This is called vacuum furnace.
1) The oxidation and decarbonization of the workpiece surface during heating are completely eliminated, and a clean surface without deterioration can be obtained. However, the temperature difference in different parts of a large number of workpieces in the furnace is large. If forced circulation of rarefied gas is used, the temperature difference can still be controlled in the range of 5 C.
4) High degree of mechatronics. On the basis of improving the accuracy of temperature measurement and control, the workpiece movement, air pressure regulation, power regulation, etc. can be programmed in advance and quenched and tempered step by step. 5) Energy consumption is significantly lower than that of salt bath furnace. Modern and advanced vacuum furnace heating chamber uses heat insulation wall and barrier made of high-quality heat insulation material, which can highly concentrate the electric heat energy in the heating chamber and achieve remarkable energy-saving effect.
